Proverbs 12:13 – Sins of the Lips

Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble. – Proverbs 12:13

A series of proverbs with this same theme:

Proverbs 12:13-25 (excluding 21 & 24)

My thoughts:

How often we are caught up with 4535324150_7018e631a5_o.jpgwhat we have said! It’s never a good feeling being trapped by our own words, and this proverb tells of the danger of evil talk. The one who has no need to fear is the one who is innocent in their words. Let’s always be careful with what we say and we’ll avoid the fallout.

Thanks for reading! Pete.
